I started this adventure when I got my first professional tattoo at Louie Lombie's Tattoo Paradise in Lake Worth, Florida. After that you couldn't get me out of that shop. Louie even had to kick me out on a few occasions because I would just hang out when I wasn't getting any work done. Eventually they got used to me and I became great friends with everyone there. Robert Balter, Kevin Buckstrup and Louie and Ed Lombi have become great friends and mentors over the last 15 years.
Robert Balter helped me get my foot in the door and in 1994 I moved to Hendersonville,NC to start my apprenticeship at Point Blank Tattoo where I would work with the likes of Ray Alexander and Rodney Raines. After 5 years there I moved down the road to help run California Ralph's Hendersonville shop. And after a fire in the restaurant next door destroyed the building, I started my own studio and haven't looked back. We seriously have the best clientel in the world. We've built some great friendships over the years and I thank all our friends and family because without them all this would not be possible. I also want to thank the two reasons I get up each morning, my two sons..the real Two Kings.

Where do I start? I was born and raised in West Palm Beach ,Florida. Mario used to babysit me and my two brothers, way way back in the day. I've always been artist in one way or another. Creative expression is one of the joys of living, right?
I moved up to western North Carolina in September 06, and started my apprenticeship under Mario at Two Kings Tattooing. Getting lunch, answering phones and lots of cleaning. I started tattooing in June 07, and can't imagine going back to being a retail manager!
I'm still finding my niche, and will always try to progress and perfect my skills. The day I think I've learned everything is the day I'll hang it up.

I have been tattooing for over 13 years, over 8 of which were here in western North Carolina. I like to specialize in traditional American tattooing (tattoos that look like tattoos). Having worked at busy street shops for most of my time tattooing, I try to meet the needs of my walk-in customers. I was born and raised in the Detroit area 38 years ago. I have been in the western North Carolina area for 20 years. I'm influenced by the past masters of American tattooing like: Cap Coleman, Sailor Jerry, Paul Rogers, and Mike Malone. My modern influences include: Mike Wilson, Scott Sylvia, and Dave Gibson. Outside of tattooing I like to paint traditional tattoo images in watercolor and liquid acrylic. Rock 'n' Roll, 60's mopars, and good food also peak my interests.
